3 cheers for victory rolls!

vogues latest editorial featuring lily d in a war time inspired shoot, only furthered my passion for war time hair. I'm absolutely useless when it comes to hair and normally just let it go shaggy and unbrushed a la mary-kate olsen. however i really would love to know how to do my hair in this style. for a party maybe...
if anyone knows a simple way to re-create this classic war time look please let me know
(:

Honestly, I've found that the easiest way is to set your hair in rollers, shake it out and muss up the roots with your fingers for some volume.
Then create a side part and pin the sides back. As you get more comfortable with the rollers you'll find that most wartime hairstyles are based out of the shapes already created by a set of curls.
